Patience Jonathan's Five Storey Hotel In Abuja Was Seized By EFCC

The hotel along Mabushi Kado road in Abuja was suspected to be owned by the former first lady Patience Jonathan has been seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Apart from the Hotel, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) also seize three other properties that also owned by Patience.
Though the graft-fighting agency has not officially valued the Hotel but it is believed to worth over #2Billion.

A mechanic who works nearby the patrol station told the  newspaper that the First Lady used to visit the hotel but have not been seen in the area since January.

Patience used to visit here frequently has not come for the past six months, the hotel have not been given name but it supposed to have been opened for business but for some reasons, they have not done so.

The other three properties that was seized by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission was located in Karsana, Wara and Idogwari areas in Abuja. There are indication that some of her properties in Port Harcourt and Yenagoa was also seized.

The former first lady Patience came under EFCC investigation in May when the commission arrested the special adviser to the President on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa.

About $15m found in Waripamowei's account which Patience claims that the money belongs to the Domestic Affairs. The commission also froze her personal account which contains about $5m.
